Description

Spend time on site interacting and participating with our teams to be able to regularly “check the pulse” of the workplace. Predict, adapt, and evaluate complex situations to provide counseling and guidance. First level contact for HR related inquiries and disseminate employee requests to Director of HR or other corporate HR team members. Work with the Director of HR, and senior leadership team to address all employee and labor relations needs. Participate in the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues. Provide coaching to managers on the resolution of sensitive employee situations, including performance management and disciplinary as required. Review & recommend improvements to local policies, procedures, and practices on HR matters. Work directly with supervisors and managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on HR matters.

Develop, facilitate, and implement staffing strategies to ensure the right people are in the right positions with the necessary skills to do the job. Obtain and retain a competent, empowered, and motivated workforce. Manage temporary workforce vendor in regards to quality, competitiveness & ensure terms of contract are met. Track and report staffing levels, deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, compensation, promotions, etc. Effectively utilize the time and attendance system to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data and information. Manage the new hire process and onboarding.
