Assist AJISS project engineers by assuring designs comply industry standards, regulations, certifications and requirements. Act as a Risk Administrator. Plan and execute the safety engineering activities within engineering change and deviations processes. Review the vessel safety case and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead HAZID and HAZOP workshops with internal and external stakeholders. Manage new safety case development activities conducted by partner companies. Review incidents and identify mitigation options. Develop and maintain a system and item risk profile. Lead the selection and implementation of a new risk management tool. Conduct technical investigations including failure analysis and solution development.


B.E / B.Tech


All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian security clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program and ITAR. Bachelor Degree in engineering. 4+ years’ experience in marine or industrial environments where the main focus of the roles has been safety engineering, risk management or similar. Have or be able to obtain a P.ENG certification. English (Essential), French (desirable as a first or second language with English).
